Keen HTC users can now make the most of great new camera features thanks to the manufacturer’s latest update.
This news is bound to please consumers -[tweet_dis]HTC has introduced the latest camera features and its ‘Eye Experience’ technology to more devices[/tweet_dis]including the HTC One M8.
The features were initially introduced with HTC’s Desire Eye smartphone last month – and have now rolled out to other handsets, just as HTC promised.
What do you get from the ‘Eye Experience?
With the ‘Eye Experience’ update you’ll find a range of new camera modes – including the new ability to capture front and rear facing photos at the same time, then combining the images.
It also features ‘Crop me in’ which allows you to superimpose people onto a screen and an Auto-Selfie setting. Photo Booth is even then for taking multiple selfies at one time.
You’ll find it’s not all about the photos either. It also enables Video Face Tracking and Video Screen Sharing so that you really can make the most of your video calls.
Android’s latest 4.4.4 update includes the software, which is a 250MB built-in download.
Which devices will get the Eye Experience update?
Devices which can expect the latest camera upgrade are the HTC One M8, HTC One, HTC One Mini 2, HTC One Mini, HTC One Max, HTC Butterfly 2, HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 816.
Obviously, if you get HTC’s Desire Eye smartphone, you’d get all of these features included too.
HTC’s Desire Eye smartphone
The HTC Desire Eye smartphone comes with impressive features aside from the Eye Experience software too. This is the first smartphone on the market to feature both 13 megapixel front AND back cameras.
It also features dual-LED flash for good results in low-light conditions, runs the latest version of Android KitKat and has a 5.2-inch Full HD display. That’s pretty good going, HTC, especially when it’s not even their flagship.
